Mashpromlizing takes delivery of second hydrofoil ferry in series

Russia’s Mashpromlizing has taken delivery of the second of three Project 23160 hydrofoil ferries it has ordered from Vympel Shipbuilding.

The vessel, which will be named Yalta, has a length of 35.2 metres, a beam of 10.3 metres, a draught of 3.5 metres, a displacement of approximately 75 tonnes, a speed of 35 knots, and capacity for 120 passengers.

The ferry will be operated by Mashpromlizing subsidiary Morskiye Skorostnyye Passazhirskiye Perevozki between Yalta and Sevastopol.
