Gondán launches largest GRP catamaran built in Spain

Spanish shipbuilder Astilleros Gondán has launched a new GRP passenger vessel ordered by Croatian ferry operator Krilo.

Measuring 36 metres long and 10 metres wide, Krilo Lux is the largest GRP catamaran to be built in Spain as well as Gondan’s second newbuilding project for Krilo. The vessel also has capacity for up to 440 passengers and a design speed of 34 knots.

Krilo Lux is scheduled for delivery before the end of November 2019 following completion of sea trials. It will serve Krilo’s Split-Dubrovnik ferry route.
