Construction begins on new ferry for Dawan district

Jianglong Shipbuilding has begun construction on a new aluminium alloy catamaran for local ferry operator Zhuhai Express.

The vessel will have an LOA of 42 metres, a beam of 10.6 metres, capacity for 238 passengers, and a speed of 36 knots.

The ferry will operate in the waters of the Dawan district between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
