ÆrøXpressen orders fast ferry from Danish shipyard

ÆrøXpressen has ordered a fast ferry from Hvide Sande Shipyard in Denmark.

Financing for the ferry and associated land facilities was mainly provided by loans from the Danish Green Investment Fund and Ringkøbing Landbobank, as well as by drawing more than 1,250 popular shares from investors at home and abroad.

This vessel will be utilised on ÆrøXpressen’s planned Marstal-Rudkøbing route.

Construction will start immediately, with expected delivery in the autumn of 2019.
