Viking Cruises names newest ocean-going ship
Viking Cruises named its newest ocean-going ship in a ceremony in Valletta, Malta, on Tuesday, May 17.
Delivered earlier this month by Italian shipyard Fincantieri, Viking Mars is the newest vessel to join Viking’s ocean fleet of identical sister ships, which also includes Viking Star, Viking Sea, Viking Sky, Viking Orion, Viking Jupiter, and Viking Venus.
The ship has 465 all-veranda staterooms that can host 930 guests. Other facilities include an infinity pool at the stern, numerous al fresco restaurants, a spa, and a sauna.
