Russian inland cruise ship Pyotr Velikiy begins builder’s trials

United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Lotos Shipyard has begun conducting builder’s trials of the new Russian river cruise ship Pyotr Velikiy (“Peter the Great”).

The Project PV300VD vessel, which is undergoing trials on the Volga River, was built by Lotos for Moscow River Shipping Company for operation by cruise company Mosturflot.

The 141- by 16-metre ship will be able to house 310 guests in 155 all-balcony staterooms upon completion. Amenities will include an observation lounge, a sun deck, a pool, and a bar.
