Quark Expeditions’ newest vessel nearing completion

A new vessel ordered by US-based Quark Expeditions is in the final stages of its construction at the facilities of Croatian shipbuilder Brodosplit.

Ultramarine is currently undergoing trials and fitting out in preparation for its scheduled hand-over to its new owners in February 2021.

The 128- by 21-metre Ultramarine will be capable of accommodating 200 passengers in 103 cabins and common rooms once completed. It is being built at a cost of approximately €106 million (US$129.75 million).
