Ponant to acquire Paul Gauguin Cruises

Ponant has confirmed that it will acquire Paul Gauguin Cruises, an operator which specialises in sailings to French Polynesia and the South Pacific.

Following the acquisition, the two cruise lines will keep their management with Paul Gauguin still based in Bellevue, Washington, and Ponant continuing to operate out of New York.

The deal will see Ponant’s itineraries include those presently being served by Paul Gauguin Cruises’ sole vessel, the 1997-built Paul Gauguin.
