New river ship to join Viking Cruises’ Nile fleet

Viking Cruises will expand its fleet in Egypt with the introduction of Viking Aton, a new state-of-the-art river vessel.

Built specifically to navigate the Nile River, the ship is currently under construction and is scheduled to debut in September 2022. It will have capacity for 82 guests in 41 staterooms, a pool, a sun deck, a lounge, and al fresco dining options.

Viking Aton will be a near-identical sister of Viking Osiris, which is set to launch in 2021.
