New cruise terminal to be built in Aqaba, Jordan

UAE-based AD Ports Group and Aqaba Development Corporation have entered into an agreement regarding the construction of a modern cruise terminal at Marsa Zayed in the Jordanian coastal city of Aqaba.

AD Ports said the new terminal will be the first cruise facility that it will build outside of the UAE.

The new terminal will serve as a gateway that will receive cruise ship passengers visiting the Red Sea via the Port of Aqaba. It will also serve as a major tourism, commercial, and entertainment attraction for residents of Aqaba.
