Meyer Werft lays keel of Saga Cruises’ second ship

Meyer Werft laid the keel for Spirit of Adventure, the second new vessel ordered by Britain’s Saga Cruises, in a ceremony in Papenburg on Monday, June 3.

Like its recently launched sister Spirit of Discovery, the second vessel will have an LOA of 326 metres, a beam of 31.2 metres, a gross displacement of approximately 58,000 tonnes, and capacity for 999 passengers.

Spirit of Adventure is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2020.
