March refurbishment for Carnival Paradise

Carnival Cruise Lines’ Carnival Paradise is undergoing a multi-million-dollar refurbishment during a month-long dry dock in the Bahamas.

The works at Freeport will include fitting 38 new cabins, adding 98 balconies to existing staterooms, numerous poolside dining options and a water park with 91.4-metre “twister” water slide and 25-metre racing slides.

The miniature golf course will be relocated and retail outlets refreshed among other changes.   

Carnival Paradise is scheduled to resume its year-round operations from Tampa, Florida on March 26.
