Lengthening project for Silversea’s Silver Spirit

Silversea Cruises’ Silver Spirit will undergo an extensive lengthening and refurbishment project at the Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo, Italy. 

The ship will enter dry dock from March 5 until May 1.

The large-scale refurbishment works will include the insertion of a pre-built 15-metre-long segment into the luxury ship’s midsection. 

The project will create 34 new luxury suites, a variety of dining options, an enlarged pool deck and a new health and fitness centre. 

The improved Silver Spirit will cater for up to 608 guests and 412 crew.
