Keel laid for MSC Cruises’ longest ship

Fincantieri held a keel-laying ceremony for MSC Seashore, the first of two Seaside Evo-class ships ordered from the company by MSC Cruises, on Thursday, September 19.

MSC Seashore, which is scheduled to enter service in June 2021, will be MSC Cruises’ longest ship at 339 metres.

The Seaside Evo-class ships are designed to be improved variants of MSC Cruises’ Seaside-class. The newer vessels are 16 metres longer and will feature 200 additional cabins, an additional double-deck aft lounge, space for two more restaurants, a bigger casino, an enlarged indoor pool, and an interactive waterpark.
