Holland America Line’s newest flagship to be named Rotterdam

Holland America Line (HAL) has confirmed that the Pinnacle-class cruise ship Ryndam currently undergoing construction at Italian shipyard Fincantieri will be the company’s newest flagship following its delivery in July 2021.

Further, the 2,660-guest vessel will be renamed Rotterdam in honour of the 1872-built Rotterdam, which had also been the first vessel to join the HAL fleet at its inception.

The new Rotterdam is scheduled to commence its inaugural season on August 1, 2021, with cruises around the Adriatic and the Mediterranean.
