Nieuw Statendam, Holland America Line's (HAL) newest cruise ship, was christened in a formal ceremony at Port Everglades, Florida, on Saturday, February 2.

Nieuw Statendam, which entered service in December 2018, is the second of HAL's Pinnacle-class ships.

The vessel has a length of 285 metres, a width of 32 metres, and capacity for 2,650 passengers.
