Four people were injured after a river cruise ship allided with a berthed vessel in Rotterdam on Tuesday, April 16.
The incident occurred at around 11:45 local time when the 135- by 11-metre Alina struck the 236- by 25-metre river cruise ship Viking Skadi, which was moored at the Eastern Quay of the Nieuwe Maas distributary.
The impact left four passengers on Alina with various injuries though none were considered to be life-threatening. No one was aboard Viking Skadi at the time of the incident.
Alina berthed at Rotterdam following the incident to allow the injured passengers to receive medical treatment.
Both vessels had reportedly already left Rotterdam by the morning of Wednesday, April 17.
No details have been provided on the damage sustained by the vessels.
