Fincantieri to build fourth ship for Virgin Voyages

Fincantieri and cruise ship operator Virgin Voyages have signed a contract valued at approximately €700 million (US$795.18 million) for the construction of a fourth cruise ship.

The vessel is expected to be delivered at the end of 2023. It will be a sister ship of three other vessels on order with Fincantieri.

The fourth vessel will have an approximate displacement of 110,000 tonnes, a length of 278 metres, and a width of 38 metres. It will feature over 1,400 guest cabins designed to host more than 2,770 passengers.
