Dredging works approved for Vladivostok

Dredging work has been approved at the port of Vladivostok to cater for Royal Caribbean Cruises’ large ships.

To be completed before the scheduled stops in September 2019, the works at Berth No.1 and Berth No.2 will allow the port to accept passenger ships of up to 350 metres in length and up to 8.5-8.6 meters in draught.

The Primorsky Territory authorities said an area near the passenger terminal, which is currently used for cargo transportation, will also be developed to become a passenger zone.
