Crystal Cruises, a US-based subsidiary of Genting Hong Kong, formally named its newest ice-class expedition yacht in a ceremony in Stralsund, Germany, on Saturday, June 26.

Built by MV Werften, Crystal Endeavor will have a length of 538 feet (164 metres), a beam of 75 feet (23 metres), and 100 suites that will house a total of 200 passengers. Amenities will include six gourmet restaurants, a casino, a spa, a fitness centre, various lounges, and shopping kiosks.

The vessel will also have flight deck space for two helicopters and additional deck space for 18 rubber boats, 14 kayaks, and a submersible with seating for up to six guests.

Crystal Endeavor, the ninth ship to join the Crystal Cruises fleet, will be homeported in Reykjavik and sail on its maiden operational voyage on July 17 this year.
