Cruise ship Azamara Pursuit makes official debut

Azamara Club Cruises recently debuted the Azamara Pursuit during a naming ceremony in Southampton, United Kingdom.

The Azamara Pursuit was ordered in September 2017 and is the latest ship to be added to the Azamara Club Cruises’ fleet.

The ship was christened by Ellen Asmodeo-Giglio and Lucy Huxley, alongside Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises, Richard Fain; President and CEO of Azamara Club Cruises, Larry Pimentel; and the Board of Directors.

Following the ceremony, the vessel set sail for its first voyage to Cherbourg, France for two nights, and will now journey from Southampton, United Kingdom to Barcelona, Spain on a 13-night cruise.
