Azamara Pursuit arrives for refit at Harland and Wolff

Azamara Club Cruises’ Azamara Pursuit has arrived at Belfast’s Harland and Wolff shipyard in Northern Ireland for a complete interior refurbishment managed by the MJM Group.

Similar in size to Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, the 11-deck liner Azamara Pursuit will be docked for several months while the refit is done in what will be the largest project of its kind at a UK shipyard for many years.

At the end of July, Azamara Pursuit will sail to Southampton, England to prepare for her maiden voyage to Norway on August 1.

The refit to the former P&O Cruises ship Adonia represents the first time a cruise ship owner has awarded complete project management responsibility to one organisation.

Harland and Wolff is famous for building Titanic and her sister ships Olympic and Brittanic.
