American Queen Steamboat Company welcomes new riverboat to fleet
Indiana-based cruise line American Queen Steamboat Company formally welcomed a new paddlewheel vessel to its fleet of riverboats on Sunday, March 21.
Built by Gulf Island Fabrication of Louisiana, American Countess can accommodate up to 245 guests in an assortment of accommodation options including inside and outside staterooms and veranda suites with private balconies. Amenities include a game room, a library, a theatre, a fitness centre, a cafe, two bars, and a large dining room.
The vessel’s future itineraries will include the Tennessee, Ohio, Cumberland, and Mississippi Rivers.
