ACL’s second new riverboat nears completion

American Cruise Lines’ (ACL) second new river cruise ship, American Harmony, is currently undergoing final outfitting in time for its inaugural cruise on the Mississippi River this coming August.

The vessel is the second in a series of five that were ordered from Chesapeake Shipbuilding and are expected to enter service with ACL through to 2022.

Like its sisters, American Harmony will have a length of 269 feet (82 metres), a beam of 59 feet (18 metres), and accommodations for up to 195 guests and a crew of 60 upon completion.
