Starlite Ferries’ newest vessel to serve Cebu-Surigao route

Philippine operator Starlite Ferries recently took delivery of a newbuild Ro-Pax from Hiroshima-based Kegoya Dock.

Named Stella Maris, the vessel has an LOA of 67.6 metres, a beam of 15 metres, a draught of three metres, capacity for 454 passengers, and a service speed of 14 knots.

The newbuild is Starlite’s first vessel to operate out of Cebu City in the Central Philippines. It began serving the company’s newest ferry route between Cebu and Surigao island on Saturday, July 27.
