Asis Boats unveils 9m amphibious RIB for Australian tour operator
UAE builder Asis Boats has completed a 9.8-metre rigid inflatable boat (RIB) ordered by Western Australia-based Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, which offers tourists the opportunity to stay on a working pearl farm.
The custom-built boat has capacity for 13 people, a displacement of 1.7 tonnes, a maximum speed of 46 knots, and a four-wheel drive amphibious system.
The company claims it is the first ever amphibious tour RIB to be approved by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA).
