Vard to build second cruise ship for Coral Expeditions
Fincantieri subsidiary Vard Holdings has signed a contract with Australian cruise operator Coral Expeditions for the design and construction of a second expedition cruise vessel.
The unit will be named Coral Geographer and will be built at Vard’s shipyard in Vung Tau, Vietnam. It will be an identical sister of Coral Adventurer (pictured), which joined the Coral Expeditions fleet last April.
Delivery of Coral Geographer is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2020.
The vessel will have a length of 93.4 metres and a guest accommodation capacity of 120.
