Tsuneishi Facilities and Craft delivers new ferry for Kurushima Strait

Tsuneishi Facilities and Craft has delivered a new passenger ferry for operation in the Kurushima Strait.

Named Kurushima Maru, the aluminium alloy vessel has a length of 18.36 metres, a beam of 4.3 metres, a displacement of 19 tonnes, a maximum speed of 14.9 knots, a crew of two, and capacity for 58 passengers.

The vessel will serve the Hatohama Port-Kijima-Kojima-Majima ferry route in Ehime Prefecture.
