Fincantieri delivers Costa Cruises’ first ship for China

Costa Cruises took delivery of Costa Venezia, the company’s first ship designed specifically to serve the Chinese market, at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard on Thursday, February 28.

This is will be the first of a series of seven ships that will be delivered to Costa Group by 2023 for a total investment of over €6 billion (US$6.83 billion).

Costa Venezia has a gross displacement of 135,500 tonnes, a length of 323 metres, and capacity for over 5,200 guests. It will be the biggest Costa ship to serve the Chinese market.
