Moran Iron Works lays keel of kayak launching vessel
Moran Iron Works (MIW) laid the keel of a new aluminium-hull kayak launching vessel for tour operator Pictured Rocks Kayaking on Friday, February 15.
The 19- by 5.7-metre vessel will feature a 1.8-metre swim deck and a passenger capacity twice that of current vessels in the Pictured Rocks Kayaking fleet.
Completion and delivery are scheduled for the summer of 2019.
