Fujian Southeast delivers Ro-Pax to Indonesia

China’s Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding has delivered a 106.35- by 20.4-metre Ro-Pax ferry to an unnamed Indonesian owner.

Designed locally, Tong Yang 77 has a complement of 17 and carries 392 passengers, 36 cars up to 2.3 tonnes each and 62 trucks up to 36 tonnes each.

With a depth of 6.5 metres and draught of 4.2 metres, she has a displacement of 5,630 tonnes, gross tonnage of 7,152 and net tonnage of 3,862.

The vessel is powered by a pair of Ningbo Zhongce GA8300ZC30B main engines of 2,206kW each, for a top speed of 15 knots.
