Philippine operator Cokaliong Shipping Lines has acquired a Japan-built Ro-Pax vessel for ¥700 million (US$6.37 million).

The 2001-built Feelease Soya is the 14th Ro-Pax vessel acquired by the company. It is scheduled to be delivered to Cebu in November 2019, after which it will undergo additional renovations before entering service.

Feelease Soya measures 95.7 by 15 metres and displaces 3,551 tonnes. Once in service, it will be the largest vessel in Cokaliong’s current fleet.
