Stena Line’s first E-Flexer-class ship floated out in China

Swedish ferry operator Stena Line’s new Ro-Pax vessel Stena Estrid was launched into the water for the first time on Wednesday, January 16, at China’s AVIC Weihai Shipyard.

Stena Estrid will enter service on the Dublin to Holyhead route in early 2020 as the first of three E-Flexer-class ships that will operate on the Irish Sea.

The 215-metre vessel will be able to carry 120 cars and 1,000 passengers.
