Cemre Shipyard delivers hull to Havyard for completion
Cemre Shipyard has launched the hull for the first of five battery ferries being constructed at the yard.
It will now be towed to Havyard in Norway for fitting out.
This is Havyard’s first of a total of 12 ferry designs for Fjord1.
The ferry will be capable of carrying up to 120 cars.
The second ferry will be launched in a month’s time, and both ferries will be delivered by the end of 2018.
