Van Oord receives new ROV for Bravenes

Subsea technology company Seatools has delivered an automated fall pipe ROV to Van Oord.

The ROV will serve Van Oord’s new subsea rock installation (SRI) vessel Bravenes.

The 450kW rock installation ROV successfully underwent extensive sea trials and is ready to be deployed for SRI campaigns.

The ROV positions the fall pipe above the target (eg., a pipeline) and facilitates rock installation in over 1,000 metres water depth.
