Petrobras CEO resigns amid scandal

Petrobras has received Aldemir Bendine's letter of resignation from the positions of Member of the Board of Petrobras and CEO.

The company remains at the centre of a corruption scandal relating to construction contracts.

Bendine also resigned from the position of Member of the Board of Petrobras Distribuidora – BR.

The Petrobras board has elected the engineer Pedro Pullen Parente as Member of the Board of Petrobras and CEO of the Company.

Luciano Galvão Coutinho also resigned from the board, and the position will remain vacant until a new member is elected.
