Western Australia-based design firm Nauti-Craft and German marine services company Offcon have entered into a development and licence agreement with the purpose of introducing a new range of multi-role daughter craft to clients in the offshore wind industry.

Offcon has secured exclusive rights to manufacture the vessels with the right to sell these worldwide. This exclusivity is for a finite period and is subject to meeting certain sales performance criteria.

Further, Offcon has established a new company named Wallaby Boats with the main purpose of building the vessels, which will be available in 14-metre, 16-metre, and 18-metre variants. The larger boats could also perform crew transfer duties.

Wallaby Boats will be based in Kappeln, Germany, while actual production of the vessels will take place across three yards in Germany and one in Denmark.
