MPI Offshore begins turbine blade repair for Dutch operator

Van Oord subsidiary MPI Offshore has begun work on a turbine blade repair and maintenance contract at the Prinses Amaliawindpark project in the Netherlands.

The offshore installation vessel MPI Resolution has commenced repair and upgrade of all the blades for 29 of the 60 turbines at the wind farm.

After the blade repair and upgrade campaign, MPI Resolution will continue its work for the five-year maintenance contract for the major components exchange at the Prinses Amaliawindpark.
