It’s an all-Norwegian roundup following recent awards for Norwegian-operated anchor handlers, construction and walk-to-work vessels, and platform suppliers. Deployments will be in support of customers in home waters as well as in the UK and France.

DOF AHTS secures three-year contract with Equinor

The DOF Group has secured a new three years firm contract for the anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) Skandi Vega with current charterer Equinor Energy.

The award, which also includes two one-year options, will commence in direct continuation of the current contract.

Skandi Vega has been operating for Equinor since delivery in 2010.

DeepOcean charters Olympic Subsea support vessel

Norwegian ocean services provider DeepOcean has awarded comptariot operator Olympic Subsea a two-year time charter agreement for the multi-purpose support vessel (MPSV) Olympic Ares.

The vessel will provide subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR), light construction, and recycling services to DeepOcean’s customers in the offshore renewables and oil and gas industries.

The charter contract commenced in the first quarter of 2023 and has a firm hire period until the end of 2024, with an option to extend the contract.

Golden Energy Offshore MPSV bags contract in Norwegian waters

Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) has confirmed the receipt of a contract from an undisclosed charterer for the MPSV Energy Duchess.

The vessel will be operated on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for a firm period of 50 days plus options.

The charter’s firm period will conclude on July 13, 2023.

Rem Offshore PSVs awarded multiple contracts

Norwegian operator Rem Offshore’s platform supply vessels (PSVs) have secured contracts from multiple charterers.

Rem Cetus, Rem Insula, and Rem Server have secured a one-year extension, continuing work with Apache North Sea in UK waters. Rem Arctic has meanwhile been awarded contracts with Well Expertise for two wells supporting the drilling rig Deepsea Yantai, and two plus two wells with Neptune Energy supporting the same rig.

Rem Commander has been awarded with a 14-well plug and abandonment contract with Spirit Energy North Sea Oil. The charter has an estimated duration of 10 months.

Lastly, Rem Trader has entered into a final campaign year with Van Oord at the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm in French waters. The vessel is firm until June 1 of this year, and Van Oord has options until mid-August thereafter.
