Damen, Wilson Sons complete dive support vessel conversion project

Damen and Brazilian shipyard Wilson Sons have completed the conversion of the platform supply vessel (PSV) Fulmar to a shallow dive support vessel (SDSV).

The conversion also saw the vessel being upgraded from DP1 to DP2 notation in preparation for use by Wilson Sons UltraTug Offshore on a new contract with Petrobras.

After finishing extended tests under Petrobras, Fulmar has been accepted and went into operation in early May.
