Wilhelmsen to acquire stake in Edda Wind

Wilhelmsen has entered into an agreement wherein it will acquire 25 per cent of Østensjø Group’s offshore wind company, Edda Wind.

Additionally, Wilhelmsen has exercised an option to acquire another 25 per cent of Edda Wind before June 2021.

The transaction prices of both acquisitions have not been disclosed.

Management of Edda Wind’s fleet of windfarm maintenance vessels, which include two in service and four on order, will remain with Østensjø.
