Vroon walk-to-work vessel begins support duties at Hohe See offshore wind farm
Vroon’s walk-to-work vessel VOS Stone has begun operating under a contract with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) at the Hohe See offshore wind farm in Germany.
The vessel is being used for both walk-to-work and supply services with all operations being performed from the Danish port of Esjberg.
Located approximately 98 kilometres from the German coast, the 497MW Hohe See wind farm covers an area of roughly 42 square kilometres, with water depths of up to 40 metres.
