Chevalier deploys accommodation vessel for windfarm support offshore Germany

DP Galyna

Netherlands-based Chevalier Floatels has deployed the accommodation vessel DP Galyna to provide maintenance operations support for a new wind farm offshore Bremerhaven.

The vessel had just completed an inspection and maintenance campaign for an oil and gas company in the Dutch North Sea when it was awarded its current contract.

DP Galyna will mainly transfer crews to and from offshore substations in the German Bight under the contract, which has a firm period of two months plus options. The vessel is expected to arrive at Bremerhaven on Saturday, July 13.
