Boskalis commissions crane vessel

Royal Boskalis Westminster has commissioned a transport and installation crane vessel at Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

The 3,000-tonne DP2 crane vessel, Bokalift 1, has a 3,000-tonne lifting capacity and a 7,000-square-metre deck space.

Used for the installation of oil and gas platforms, installation of jacket foundations and monopole foundations for offshore wind turbines, and decommissioning of oil and gas platforms, Bokalift 1 can accommodate up to 150 people.
