Sea trials for DSV Van Gogh

Ultra Deep Solutions’ latest diving support construction vessel Van Gogh is currently undertaking sea trials.

Designed in Norway by Marin Teknikk, the 111.5-metre Van Gogh has an open back deck of 1,100 square metres.

Accommodating up to 120 personnel, Van Gogh comes with 14,700KW of power and a top speed of 14 knots.

The vessel is equipped with diesel electric, frequency-controlled propulsion, azimuth thrusters, dynamic positioning system and 150-tonne offshore crane (3,000-metre water depth).

It also has two work-class remotely operated underwater vehicles (WROV).

The vessel will be delivered to Malaysian waters in June.
