ST Engineering has unveiled a new design of catamaran vessel optimised for crew transfer duties.
The vessel, which was developed in cooperation with Incat Crowther, will feature a wave-piercing semi-SWATH hull form, seating for up to 150 passengers, and four dual fuel engines that could also run on LNG. The engines could enable the vessel to sail at a cruising speed of 34 knots and a maximum speed of 40 knots.
The crewboat may also be reconfigured as an accommodation vessel for up to 30 people in single cabins.
