SeaZip, TOWSC to collaborate on offshore wind projects in Taiwan

Dutch crewboat operator SeaZip and Taiwan Generations Corporation (TGC) subsidiary Taiwan Offshore Wind Farm Services Corporation (TOWSC) have agreed to collaborate on the provision of support for construction, commissioning, and operations and maintenance (O&M) on offshore wind farm projects in Taiwan.

The two companies will begin their collaboration in 2020 by working on the TGC-owned 128MW Fuhai wind farm and will gradually expand to serve TGC’s other projects in the same area off the coast of Changhua County.

SeaZip will provide crew transfer services while TOWSC will offer O&M services consisting of wind turbine technician supply, logistics arrangements, marine coordination, blowout preventer (BOP) inspection and survey, operation control centre support, and asset integrity management.
