Manor Renewable Energy now under new ownership

Global offshore services business OEG Offshore has acquired full ownership of vessel operator and subsea survey specialist Manor Renewable Energy (MRE).

MRE said the acquisition will help it extend its presence beyond Europe and Taiwan to include other markets in the Far East and even the United States.

The acquisition is part of a broader initiative by OEG to better serve the renewables market. In autumn last year, OEG acquired full ownership of Hughes Subsea Services to expand its installation and maintenance capabilities.
