Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) has confirmed that its newest crewboat has been launched at the facilities of French shipbuilder OCEA.

LDA said the crewboat is the first vessel of its kind to be designed and built in France. It will be operated jointly with Tidal Transit in support of activities at the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm.

The vessel and a near-identical sister, which is also under construction, are scheduled to be commissioned in the summer of 2022.
