Germany’s Opus Marine orders Damen fast crewboat

German operator Opus Marine has placed an order for a new fast aluminium crewboat to be built by Damen Shipyards Group.

Opus Marine will operate the vessel in support of its charterers, serving the offshore wind industry in the German sector of the North Sea.

The vessel, which will be named Allegro, will be the second Damen crewboat in the Opus Marine fleet. It will have a length of 26.8 metres, capacity for 24 passengers, a deck area of 90 square metres, and a speed of 25 knots.

The crewboat is available in stock and will be delivered to its new owners in March 2021.
